What excites you about industrial manufacturing?

I’ve always enjoyed building something or assembling that Christmas gift, so working with businesses that manufacturers a product or delivers a tangible service fits my personality as something you can put your hands on. From an investment perspective, our country has been the world leader in industrial innovation and I think there will be a renewed effort over the next few decades to maintain and even advance this position. The nimbleness of a middle market manufacturing company should be well positioned for this opportunity and it will be exciting to work with great partners that are focused on capturing this upside.

How do you spend your free time away from work?

I spend time with my wife Coleen, two teenage daughters (Gabbie and Remy) and our son Brandon a few years younger. In addition to chasing the kids around to the various sports, I try to find time for golf, traveling and snow skiing, our favorite family activity. I’m the chair of the finance council for The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in downtown Cleveland, past president of the Rotary Club of Cleveland and like to support other small grassroot organizations that are making a difference in the local community.
