STACK Media Launches Women’s Site: STACK 4W

NEW YORK, NY–(Marketwire -10/26/11)- STACK Media, the nation’s leading provider of sports performance information and services for athletes, is pleased to announce the creation of STACK for Women (, launching on October 26, 2011.

STACK 4W will be the ultimate destination for female athletes looking to reach the next level — another STACK platform with authoritative and actionable “how-to” content and guidance on training, fitness, nutrition, sports skills, gear, and lifestyle.

New article and video content, added daily, will include performance-enhancing tips and techniques straight from the world’s best female athletes and their coaches. Among the athlete videos available at launch: WNBA All-Star Candace Parker; world leader in the 100m Carmelita Jeter; and U.S. National Soccer Team members and Olympic medalists Abby Wambach and Heather Mitts. From an abundance of exercises, workouts and expert nutrition advice to athlete-relevant new product information and insights on recruiting, STACK 4W will cater exclusively to the needs of female athletes.

In conjunction with the launch, influential sports marketers Gatorade and Under Armour have come on board to leverage STACK’s unique content assets and reach into the women’s market. Gatorade is a founding partner of the site and has received sponsor attribution in the site’s header, while Under Armour has run banner campaigns on the site.
